Embracing Accusation [by Shane & Shane]

Listening to this song this morning and wanted to share it with you all! It's a beautiful song about how we were cursed for not following the Words of the Bible but Jesus took that curse for us!
Jesus Saves!

Happy Memorial day loved ones!

Making shirts!

So I decided that I would make some shirts just for fun! I bought the black & white shirts at Hobby Lobby for $2 on sale :)!!! The puff paint was bought at Wal-mart and the rotary cutter was bought at Michael's on sale...I definitely recommend it because it works way better than scissors and it's easier on the wrist too! Hope you're inspired to create some fun shirts too........Enjoy!

This one was for some one else ;)

Motivated by Madness

A while back I tweeted: "Been up since early practicing music & singing! I will be a for the rest of my life!! "

I mean it to! My desire is to sing and worship for the rest of my life....and even if I never get a record deal or the reality of my dream established [SINGING ALL OVER THE WORLD]...I will continue to WORSHIP! It is so scary to think that God's plans for me may not be what I think they should be, but regardless I trust Him with my entire life simply because He knows better than I do....I believe that!
So whether I'm out there singing it or whether I am just the author of the music, I believe that other people will worship with me as I exalt God with my talent! Pray for me as I pray for you....I pray that God's talents with in you would burst out of you to bless the world around you!
His plan + Your life = One decision

Got my eye on you! ;)

It's quite common for a girl to LOVE shopping. So in my online browsing time, I very much enjoy looking at shoes and jewelry. The creativity that is out there just fascinates me! I think that I have said it before but if I could design [or least help think-up] some fancy shoes....I would be a very happy girl! That is a secret dream of mine...hmmmm....we'll see what the future holds!
Here are some lovely pieces that I fancy...made By Violet Bella

'Receive my love'
Here are a few more....I don't remember the designer though :(

'Pirouette Ballerina'

And now for some SHOES!!

Ahhhh....I just can't get enough of them!
Some of these are designed by ModCloth & others by Poetic Licence
Simply Gorgeous!

From the Heart.....

I just love this quote by the beautiful Miss Audrey Hepburn!

This past week I have been a little M.I.A. but all for good reason! My grandma was here in town and I spent lots of Q.T. with her. I took all around our P-U-R-T-Y lil city here in SA-TX! I truly love when people come to visit me because I get them all to myself ;) but I hate goodbyes! I didn't realize that I would miss her sooooo much when she left but I did, and now I have been in slow motion recovery mode...hahaha! Family is so precious....Learn to love'em - hug'em - and cherish'em as long you can!

Sweet dreams Sweeties!

Birdies!

My latest obsession is with Birds! I love them. In decoration, in real life and especially on jewelry!! While on vacay in Florida I bought this pretty bird box [which I have decided to use for jewelry]. I am so bored with my old jewelry box so I decided to buy hat boxes and use them to hold my jewelry and other random accessories, since I thought it would be more fun and decorative for my room!

While shopping at one of my favorite stores, Hobby Lobby, I bought this little box  below and once I got home....I got the bright idea to decorate it myself. Below are some pics of the process which I am very pleased with! Enjoy and be inspired to design your own!! (p.s. they are on sale right now at Hobby Lobby so hurry and get yours!)

My blank canvas

Tracing out my drawing!

Almost finished..

Final project....I'm loving it!

Why fight?!

PEACE...We can learn something from Barbie! hehehe

Ok so I am a little embarrassed to admit this [hehehehe] but I am hooked on a show that plays on ABC Family called Secret Life of the American Teenager it's a crazy show that involves a bunch of teenagers who have babies, frenemies, and lots of drama! I don't remember how or why I started watching the show but I am hooked.....

So last night as I was catching up on the most recent episode I laughed because the entire episode was revolved around an argument or better yet a misunderstanding between two girls, which escalated into an argument with everyone connected to those two ladies [literally everyone was arguing!]. I couldn't help but think how many times I have experienced that in my own life. Throughout the course of my post high school education I have read plenty of books about counseling, conflict, etc. One of the most dominant thoughts in all the studying & reading I've done turns out to be so true and that is this "Hurting people will always hurt people." Anyhow, with all that info swimming around in my little head & then watching this show I could not help but think that the problem was blown out of proportion because the original two girls never 'talked it out.' And as I reflect on my own life I think of how many friendships or relationships I have ruined because of my pride, not wanting to face what I did wrong, or not wanting to say sorry. I want to be committed to love the people in my life and respect them by giving them the benefit of the doubt that they mean well. Not everyone is out to hurt us. One of the stars of this show "Secret Life" is one that lives in constant conflict with the other girls on the show. That is so sad to me, why live a life of constant animosity and conflict with others?! Let's LOVE more and LOVE more Often! I want to encourage you all to value the relationships and people in your life.

Just a few thoughts:
1. Choose to live in peace rather than conflict.
2. Choose to believe the best in people.
3. Choose communication rather than assumptions [something I struggle with, but I'm learning].
4. Self-talk is ok! David in the Bible often had to tell his soul to "rejoice in God your Savior" he needed to remind himself and his soul that God can be trusted. Sometimes we need self-talk to calm us down or make sense of a situation.
5. Commit to resolving conflict A.S.A.P. [believe me, life will be a lot more enjoyable]!
6. Stop those crazy thoughts when they pop up...here's some biblical advice on that:
2 Corinthians 10:5 -  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
7. We need one another.... as much as we think we would be 'better off' without others, it's not true!

As I was looking up scripture on biblegateway.com the following was the scripture of the day: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” - Romans 15:5-6....hmmm interesting it's sort of coincidental, huh?

When we live in PEACE....we all win!

Goodnight, I hope you are blessed by this!

Sky-DIVING!!! (the perfect graduation gift!)

Hello! Hello! Well this past week was spent in the lovely Sunshine State :D! I spent some time letting the sun kiss my face by both the pool-side & beach-side! I was supposed to be in Lynchburg, VA walking for my graduation, celebrating my Master's degree! But, when I saw how much it was going to cost I quickly considered other options. Since our family lives in Florida we decided to go there...and since a Master's degree is quite the accomplishment my hubs wanted to give me a great present...nothing better than SKYDIVING!!! Oooooh!!! I could definitely do that again...and...again... We went to Skydive Space Center in Titusville. FL.
So Saturday morning I went jumping with 2 friends of mine. I really have no words to describe how beautiful and breathtaking that view is. The feeling is a rush, like no other. It's about a 90 second free fall then a few minutes of gliding and enjoying the view 'til you get to the ground. The entire time I had a smile on my face. We had prepared for a 15,000 feet jump but as I got to the ground I quickly learned that we had been given a nice FREEBIE!!! Since everyone else on he plane paid for the 18,000 ft jump they decided to take us up that high too! My instructor was great & super fun! Again, it is an indescribable feeling, it's liberating, exhilarating, breathtaking and all around amazing! I have a small video I am making and will post shortly [I chose not to buy the one that took of me, as it was quite costly!] But here goes: my very exciting JUMP day! 5-14-2011
Keeping myself entertained while on the way....so that I don't chicken-out!
