Another addiction...

Social networking is insanely addicting....I'm sure you all know! So I recently caved and signed up for a Polyvore account and I love it! I can just sift through the collections for hours if you let me. Clothes, photography, art.....what's not to love about it? Anyways here are some of my boards... Check it out if you like but I'll warn you it'll suck you in!
Black and white always catches my eye :D
I just love yellow!

Christians...

Just wanted to share a great poem that I read:

Christians by Maya Angelou
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean living'"
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain..
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Pretty is as Pretty does... but beautiful is just plain beautiful!

Wisdom:
"A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her."

The most important things....

I'm convinced that the most important things in life can not be bought or found but rather felt or touched! Feeling my baby move is so special and I'm in awe every time I feel my lil one moving around inside me. I still can't believe that there is a lil person growing in mah belly. I love how fascinated my husband is by the whole thing! He's already so in love with our baby and talks to him/her daily. He's gonna be such a good daddy. I'm so excited to share this new journey with him. God is truly a miracle maker, I feel it within me everyday! Have a wonderful weekend loved ones!

My last blog post....as a 20 something year old!

Although I have no control over what age I turn, I'm not completely hating the idea of being a 30 year old. Yes it's scary, of course, who wouldn't want to be in their 20's forever?! But I am looking forward to a new decade and new things to come! In my 20's I experienced some of the best things in life: college, dating, marriage, graduations, traveling, the re-marriage of my parents, moving to another state and starting a whole new adventure with my Mr., starting a crafting hobby,  the list could go on forever! I am so thankful for all the people that are in my life that have loved me, motivated me and been there for me in the best and worst of times.
In my 30's I look forward to being a mommy!!! And a million other things that I am so excited about. But today I just want to breath it all in....live one day at a time.

Here's a wish list that I have had since last year. I just took a look at it to see how much I've accomplished. I've still got a ways to go.....new year to accomplish new things. YAY!

Preparing for a lil one!

Oh the JOY of baby shopping!!
So last week I convinced hubs to go do our baby registry... oh my was that funny?!
We had so much fun pretending like we knew what we were doing. Ha!
Being, me of little patience, this adventure was quite the laugh. Just trying to figure out how to close a
stoller I worked up a sweat...haha! We had found the perfect stroller and it was not too big and bulky, well needless to say, we didn't register for it because lil old me could not close it without a struggle.
Then after 2 hours we just plopped down in the rocking chairs and gliders in the store until we decided to end the night with frozen yogurt because that's what #babybonilla wanted.....YUMMM!
Well...long story short I realized that I don't like themed baby stuff and I DON'T want a gender specific nursery. I don't like baby blue or baby pink, well I don't think I like pastels in general for my baby's room. But I am really liking the grays and yellow colored items. And I love a bird/birdcage theme.
So I looked up nurseries in those colors and I just LOVED what I found!
Here are some pics of my favorites!!
Great ideas here!
Love the stripes, that is favorite crib!
This website caught my attention and I Love it!
I could paint that!

So who wants to help me paint my baby's room?!!
Hehehe! I have a feeling that a large portion of my nursery will be DIY :D and I am ok with that!!
